The featured artist selected for February/March is the multi-talented with adaptable music styles and a truly versatile and influential lyricist BUSY SIGNAL. Busy Signal was born Reanno Gordon in the beatiful parish of St. Ann, Jamaica and the year was 1982. The world never knew what hit it when little Busy was born. He first rose to stardom with an instant hit single in 2005 (Step Out) and that gave him the opportunity to unleash his lyrical talent and exceptional style of delivery to the Dancehall fraternity. Busy credits his musical influences from his experience as a young lad in his mother's church with the choir where he sang quite a bit and by dejaaying in school while drumming on desks with friends to form beats which he delivered songs from his then idol and dancehall influence Bounty Killer. Signal eventually became a notable member of "The Alliance" led by none other than Bounty himself. As time went on busy has continued to show the world how he got his nickname due to his "busy personna" as given to him by a friend. He has been keeping himself quite busy in the industry and have released several albums and featured on even more compilations to date. The most recent album release from this artist was in July 2010 titled D.O.B.
